Prometheia Alystaris
The trickster who likes to play with fire. She has no problem challenging Fait in his own lair if it means saving her friends and family from his harsh decrees. A closet romantic, she dreams of finding her true love soulmate. Of course, she already has a perfect ideal in mind, and it is definitely not the heartless Lord Faitus Majesticus.
Faitus Majesticus
The misunderstood hero. Has he inherited a universe gone mad, or is it all a part of Eternity’s greater plan? Either way, he struggles to manage the lot that has befallen him with grace, dignity, and compassion. He invented the doos system to keep things equitable, but somehow it does not always work out that way. Hearing “Fait sucks!” is sometimes the only reward he gets for his valiant efforts.
Manus Alystaris
The loyal follower. Prometheia’s brother shares a special bond with his fiery sister. He will follow her anywhere and stand by her side…even if it kills him inside. His wish for a true love is far from hidden in some trunk in the attic. He wants the whole world to know he is ready to meet that special someone. Unfortunately, Broker Rip is listening.
Endeavor
Everyone’s ideal. With some effort, he knows he can make everyone’s dreams come true. He has a vision of seeing his community come together to enjoy life, something that the domain of Joilus struggles with. By creating an idyllic spot that provides individuals with activities tailored to their needs, he believes he can make a difference in their lives, perhaps bring more happiness their way.
Broker Rip
The manipulator who always has an extra ace or two up his voluminous sleeves. He brokers great deals in a variety of categories, but his favorite category is LOVE. “Pays well, you see. My commission, you see.” If you listen to him, you could be acquiring happiness in the form of acquisitions faster than you can pay your doos.
Justene Triumfes
The audacious one. She may have fallen prey to Broker Rip’s promises, but she eventually learned from her mistake…the hard way. Now, through her friendship with Prometheia and Endeavor, she is learning to take her life into her own hands, gaining the attention she has always desired on a more straightforward path.
Faeth Majesticus
The sweet and innocent one. As Fait’s youngest sister, she sometimes gets dismissed as too balmy and idealistic to make a real difference in the world. But she is much stronger than many realize, and her magical mysticism can sometimes create the very atmosphere needed to spawn a change for the better.
Hoep Majesticus
The formidable one. This sister of Fait is a force to be reckoned with. Do not dare trend on those near and dear to her or you will most certainly pay the price. Her skill in martial arts and her ability to endure all trials are renowned at Palace Majesticus, which she enjoys more as a fortress against any onslaught of foes.
Amandas Fae
The devoted, ethereal one. She would do almost anything to keep her beloved Manus by her side. Strike up a bargain with Fait, make deals with Broker Rip. She would rather lose herself than her husband. Only that kind of sacrifice tips the Scales of Justas and comes laden with doos. Torn between two worlds, how will she ultimately satisfy the demands of both?
Luv
The mysterious force. She lives in a secreted cottage at the edge of the woods where she spends her days baking, writing in her diary, and meddling in people’s love lives. Her philosophy is simple: The world needs more love…and cinnabuns. Hot cocoa too. She is always ready with a plate full of treats and a cup full of compassion. Luv really does make the world go round…in all ways.
